Agricultural Fairgrounds RV Rules & Regulations
ECAS will provide full hook-ups including sewer to accommodate as many RV’s as possible and will have available 120V 30 amps and 220V 50 amps electric. RV parking will be set so as to provide the most cost effective means of electrical distribution. The Facilities Manager will assign specific areas for set-up, as only certain areas have full hookups that are in use.
MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:
1. REGISTRATION: All camping is on a first come, first served basis. The daily rate is $25.00 and must be paid in cash or check. You will receive an RV permit that must be placed in a window that can be seen at all times. ECAS reserves the right to tow any unidentified RV’s or Camping Units. 2. ELECTRIC: A limited amount of hookups/connections are available on the fairgrounds. The electrical hook-ups may not necessarily be closer than 100 feet. You must supply your own electrical cords, hoses, “Y” s or any items needed for hook-up.
3. REFUGE: Regular refuge pickups will be scheduled at designated areas & shall be provided. If amount of refuge surpasses ECAS disposal capacity, Group will be charged for additional dumpster at prevailing rates. Lessee will cooperate with any recycling programs pertaining to local law and/or policy.
4. FULL HOOKUPS: There will be designated areas in the trailer park with full hookups. Only those areas can be used, as not all the sewer lines will be open. If anyone uses non-designated areas, they will be billed $500.00 per use. If Lessee feels they need more stations, than we have available, Lessee will make arrangements (at own expense), with an outside contractor for waste removal (Honey Wagon).
5. FIRES: No individual cooking or camp fires are permitted in camper lot.
6. AWNINGS: Per the NYS Laws pertaining to camping on Fairgrounds, awnings are not allowed to be open at any time on the Hamburg Fairgrounds property. There are no exceptions and anyone who is non-compliant will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
The Lessee shall take reasonable care to prevent damage to the premises or loss of or damage to property of the Society at the Premises. The Lessee shall be responsible for any such loss or damage caused by Lessee and is responsible for bodily injury to persons arising out of the Lessee’s use or occupancy of the premises. The Erie County Agricultural Society (ECAS) and its agents and/or employees will not be held responsible for any damage caused by an electrical surge, weather, trespassing, theft or any other reason.
